Jailed journalist Anorld Anthony Mukose has finally been released on a cash bail of one million Shillings following his detention on reinstated charges of alleged publication of false & distressing news about the first Lady Janet.K. Museveni death.
Mukose was released by the LDC Court Magistrate Joanita Muwanika who on Friday afternoon ordered his sureties to pay 5 million shs, non cash.
However, he was conditioned by Court to refrain from any further commentary about the case.
Mukose was represented by the lawyers including Simon Peter Esom & Tumusiime Kato, while state by Rachael Namutebi.
The Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) case monitoring team was led by the Secretary General Emmanuel Kirunda.
Previously, Mukose had been released on a 5 million cash bail b4 his re arrest earlier this week over the same charges.
The matter was adjourned to November 10 fir further hearing.
